I thank you for sending this
great gift for me. Do you have some more details, e.g.
sculptor / artist's name and the place where the statue is
put etc.?
I hope next time the same
artist or some other will also show the Baloch Joan of Arc,
i.e., Baanaliy the Great
(Chaakar's sister ?) who faught along with Chaakar, and was
with him in several battlefields (see Balochi classical
poetry). This will be a recognition of equality of men and
women in Baloch society, and a source of inspiration for our
sistres and daughters. ... and, of course, a source of pride
for all of us.
I hope the Baloch and their
well-wishers and friennds will financially help the artist/s
to create many of such (Chaakar
& Baanaliy ) statues for several cities,
towns and population centers of all parts of the Baloch
lands including Karachi ... and smaller replicas for our
homes.
If you have not already done
so, please send what you have sent to me along with this
note to as many relevant print & web media as possible.
Please, kiss the hands of
the sculptor for me and give him/her my respects and love.
Also tell him/her that I am waiting for the next (Chaakar
& Baanaliy ) masterpiece.
